ROTOR BLADE REPAIR

 

Suspendem provides blade repair services on-ground, via rope access and suspended platform.  Therefore, we can use the most cost effective strategy for your project.

 

Suspendem uses rope access (because it is simple, quick and inexpensive) to repair minor defects.  For larger jobs, we use one of our 360 suspended platforms or single-stage platforms for a more stable work space.

For extremely complex jobs, Suspendem has composite repair engineers on-call to consult on almost any type of job.  As an alternative, we are pleased to help your engineers or technicians safely access the blades to perform the repairs. We train your staff and rig an appropriate access system (rope access or suspended platform) for your team to complete the repair services safely.

ROTOR BLADE INSPECTIONS

 

Suspendem provides blade inspection services via camera, rope access or suspended platform. 

 

BLADE INSPECTION SERVICES

  • From-the-ground camera inspections

  • Internal inspections with confined space trained personel and appropriate equipment 

  • External visual and exploratory (with grinding) inspections 

  • Lightning system inspection

  • End of warranty (EOW) blade inspections

 

* All inspections include high-quality, timely reports with photos and/or video.  

 

PREVENTATIVE BLADE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Suspendem provides annual blade inspections of one or several wind parks for larger customers.  Customers receive the following benefits:

  • Piece of mind - knowing that you understand the state of your blades and have a maintenance plan 

  • Cost forecasts:    Suspendem classifies all defects by severity and works with the customer`s  to create a customized blade maintenance program.
